The dust has settled a bit, and we need to say this loud and clear: thank you. 💛

The sudden closure of our location at 3029 Lake Shore Blvd W. meant we had to clear out our entire space in just three days—during business hours. We truly had no way to do it alone.

So we leaned on our community… and you showed up. 🧡

You came for an hour, an afternoon, or all three days—lifting, packing, hauling, sorting, cleaning, and keeping us going when we were exhausted and emotional. Many of you even brought bins, boxes, dollies, supplies, and extra hands without being asked.

In one of the hardest moments we’ve ever faced, you reminded us what community really is: people showing up for people.

The dust has settled a bit, and it feels important to share the good stories. 💛

As many of you know, the closure of our brick-and-mortar location at 3029 Lake Shore Blvd W. was sudden and unexpected. We were given the overwhelming task of clearing out our entire space in just three days—during business hours.

To be completely transparent: we had no realistic way to do that on our own. No time to plan, no storage lined up, and no space ready to move into.

So we did what we’ve always done at Funny Bones… we reached out to our community. 🧡
And you showed up.

People arrived—some for an hour, some for an afternoon, and some for all three days—lifting, packing, hauling, sorting, cleaning, organizing, and holding us up when we were exhausted and emotional. Many of you even brought family members, bins, boxes, dollies, and supplies—without being asked.

We can’t fully put into words what that meant. In one of the hardest moments we’ve ever faced, you reminded us what community truly is:

people showing up for people.

Happy New Year to all of our family, friends, neighbours, customers...etc. As we step into 2026, we just want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love, stories, messages, support, and encouragement you've shown us through an incredibly difficult time. You've reminded us what Funny Bones has always been about "the Power of Play" - connection, laughter, belonging, and hope, even when things feel heavy. We don't take a single moment of your support for granted, and whatever this next chapter brings, please know that you've already made a difference and helped create something truly meaningful.

A Message to Our Funny Bones Community 💛

Dear neighbours, friends, and extended Funny Bones family,

Last week, we unexpectedly lost access to our space. While we had been working through financial challenges and actively exploring solutions, circumstances moved very quickly and we were unable to complete those discussions.

What matters most to us is that our community knows this:
Funny Bones never gave up.
For more than 8 years, this space was built with heart, resilience, and a deep belief in the Power of Play. Together, we created a place where friendships formed, kids grew in confidence, teams bonded, families laughed, and neighbours became friends.
We are endlessly grateful for every game played, every birthday celebrated, every camp, event, and moment of connection that happened within those walls. This community made Funny Bones what it was — and that will never be taken away.
If Funny Bones ever brought joy to your family, supported your child, hosted your team, or gave you a place to connect — please know how deeply thankful we are. Your support over the years has meant everything to us, and we wouldn’t be here without you.

Thank you for believing in us, for showing up, and for being part of something truly special.
