Hello, folk lovers! We're not quite ready to host house concerts yet, BUT we do have an exciting live event to share with you. Most of you will have met our daughter Katie, but many won't know that she is an accomplished composer and writer, and has just graduated from Sheridan's Bachelor of Musical Theatre program with a specialization in writing! She has a folk musical in development called The Storyteller, which explores themes of community and mental health in a family-friendly way via the tradition of fairytales and storytelling. We're so excited that it has been chosen for further development by No Strings Theatre, who are presenting a staged concert SUNDAY, JUNE 5th at 4PM at Tarrogon Theatre. Tickets are PWYC and all ages are welcome. We would love to see you there!
About NST: In collaboration with industry professionals, No Strings Theatre aims to develop, empower and inspire the next generation of performing artists. Assuring an equitable space, we are committed to fostering anti-racist, non-biased theatrical practices while reducing socio-economic barriers. Our practices facilitate an inclusive space for community engagement in the arts.
