NEW OPEN MIC, TONIGHT at THE QUEEN'S LEGS! All performers welcome! Every other Tuesday, we hope you'll join us at Eglinton & Avenue at The Queen's Legs for Toronto's newest open mic, hosted by Jessica Stuart.

Sponsored by Long & McQuade Musical Instruments, this open mic boasts top-of-the-line guitars (PRS & Taylor), keyboard (Roland, 88-weighted keys) & bass (Fender Jazz), so just bring yourself and come play some songs in a supportive, inclusive, creative environment.

An open letter to the incredible people that have become part of our Open Mic & Open Jam community:

When we got word last week that Clinton's Bar had opted out of hosting our incredible and quickly-growing Open Mic/Jam, we were very surprised, and saddened.
What we all have built together in such a short time, not only makes me hopeful about life in general, coming out of this weird time in history, but has also made it abundantly clear what a special, creative and amazing community we have here - a community filled with fine folks that felt the need to connect with each other and music in the same way we do, with the support of each other, and a feeling for everyone of being included, and a part of something great. ❤️

We really don't want to lose this incredible scene we've been building with you, but WE NEED YOUR HELP TO FIND OURSELVES A NEW HOME, where we can transplant this beauty of an event that we invested so much energy and heart into.

SO, we're coming to you, hoping you can help us gather new venue suggestions so we can keep our momentum going!

What are we looking for, you may ask?

1. Downtown/easy-to-access location
2. Great venue sound, stage that can fit full-band backline & live-music-supporting management
3. Good vibe room with capacity 50ish+ seated for inclusive feeling

And we'll also need a new name! Currently "Used To Be Clinton's Open Mic" is where we're at, but we can do better.. 😅
