For locals, ball players and visitors alike, the arrival of this event marks the official start of the busy summer season in Tobermory. The harbour comes alive, patios fill up, music fills the air, and the village welcomes another incredible season on the Bruce Peninsula.

🌊🧤 SCRUB THE TUB 2026 – A TOBERMORY TRADITION! 🧤🌊

Join us on Tuesday, June 9 as we come together for one of Tobermory’s favourite annual traditions—Scrub the Tub!

Each year, this community-wide cleanup helps kick off our beloved Chi-Cheemaun Festival and summer tourism season, bringing residents, businesses, cottagers, boaters, divers, and visitors together to help keep our beautiful harbour, shoreline, trails, and waters clean and welcoming for everyone.

✅ Registration: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
✅ Community Cleanup: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
✅ Social Gathering: 6:00 PM at Tobermory’s Crowsnest Pub

After the cleanup, join us at Tobermory’s Crowsnest Pub for a well-earned social gathering with free pizza and non alcoholic drinks, great conversation, and a chance to celebrate another successful community effort.
