Smithers Legion

Branch 63 has lowered the flag in solidarity and honour of the recent tragedy in Wainwright Alberta.

We will remember them.

It is with profound sadness that we confirm that Sergeant Morgan Wong, Private Shaun Farrell, Private Aidan Goulding, and Private Hayden Lykkemark lost their lives during a fire-related training incident at CFB Wainwright at approximately 4 p.m. MDT yesterday. Thirty-nine additional members sustained injuries.
