I want to thank all the patrons. I thoroughly enjoyed each and everyone. You made my time running the Pub special. I had a great staff, always pleasant and fun to be around. However the business was not enough for me to continue financially. If not for food sales we would have gone under much sooner. I feel I tried absolutely everything I could to draw people in, but it just wasn't enough. I am sorry to have to shut down. I again thank you all and have a wonderful new year.

The donation we collected from patrons at the pub on behalf of Vickie Brown for the Ronald McDonald House in Edmonton was 429.50. I will mail out the cheque to them today. thank you everyone for support the charity.

Celebrate New Years Eve at the Pump Jack Pub with a three piece band that will play good dance music. From Athabasca: H.O.E. Advanced tickets on sale staring tomorrow Dec. 18th. $20.00 per person. Includes, a glass of champagne to bring in the new year, cheese and crackers & garlic sausage tray, noise makers and hats. By the way: Fred Laughy will be celebrating his 29th birthday on that night.
