The Witches Playground will open its doors for an afternoon of creative fun at Melinda’s Enchanted Cottage.
This event is suitable for all ages, with 3 levels of activity available based on age.

Sunday March 29th drop in anytime, we open at 10am.
This event can take anywhere from 1 to 3hrs depending on the complexity of your mandala.

Cost $25 plus tax ($28.25)

The mandala for kids is a great tool for expressing their creative side, as well as learning how to utilize focus, balance and having fun.
Mandalas can be a purposeful energy techniques that promotes calming and self awareness.

The mandala for adults is a tool for gaining wisdom and compassion and generally is depicted as a tightly balanced, geometric composition wherein deities reside. The principal deity is housed in the center. The mandala serves as a tool for guiding individuals along the path to enlightenment.
Sit with your mandala, imagining it as a three-dimensional palace. The deities who reside in the palace embody philosophical views and serve as role models. The mandala’s purpose is to help transform ordinary minds into enlightened ones.

Mandalas transmit positive energies to the environment and to the people who view them. While constructing a mandala, one can chant and meditate to invoke the divine energies of the deities residing within the mandala. They can then ask for the deities’ healing blessings.

Melinda’s Enchanted Cottage
Annual Witches Masquerade Ball…
Things that go bump in the night.

When daylight fades and shadows creep,
And stars begin their nightly keep,
A world unseen comes into view,
Beneath the veil of night’s dark hue.

These witches are back for our 7th Witches Masquerade ball Friday October 30th 2026….save the date.
Our masquerade theme is made up things that send chills up your spine, the creatures that inhabit the dark and play within the shadows brining about our darkest fears.

I’ve never been one for being afraid, Or running away from a fight, But I shiver with fear, whenever I hear Things that go bump in the night.

It’s a gathering of witches, tales of woe and creatures that lurk in the shadows. Choose your character and costume that best represents a creature of the night, after all it is a masquerade party.
Think vampires, zombies, ware wolves, folktales of hags or creatures that are forbidden to walk our earthly plain.
As the veil draws near our worlds collide allowing all beings to participate in Devils night and all Hallow’s Eve.
Costume Prizes available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place costume. Follow for details

Evening Activities
The finest showman…we bring to you a night of mischievous play and mind blowing experiences. We have an itinerary of fun planned for this evenings event and we will share the tantalizing details bit by bit as we move closer to our night. Stay tuned, stay in touch and watch as the shadows unfold.

A feast…a plethora of delicious foods stock our cold and hot buffet, grab a plate and satisfy any soul by feasting with your fellow darklings. Buffet is served from 7-8pm

The Buffet at a glance, this year we’ve decided to create a cold sub and sandwich bar with all the fixings and side dishes you could want. Also available will be a hot bar made up of chillies, thick hearty stews, baked beans, and meatballs, these types of home cooked comfort foods are best served on nachos, baked potatoes and bread bowls…with a few dashes and sprinkles extra toppings.

Dance the night away…let the DJ entrance you with a melody of tunes. Feel the beat as you move across the dance floor mingling with all our unearthly souls.
We dim the lights and strike up the music at 8pm

Say cheese…we’ve set the scene, created the ambiance and all you have to do is strike a pose, and have a passerby take the pic.
Join our photo centre and capture the creatures of the night.

Drinks…our cash bar is sure to please with a selection of popular drinks and a few of our
Newly created signature cocktails.
Don’t forget your coffers.

Join our witches as we explore the ocean, all its wonderful inhabitants and the Magick they hold.
Throughout our journey we will create our very own ocean in a jar for the purpose of spell work, send a message in a bottle and have some fun with a sea witch.

Join us Sunday January 15th 2023 11am to 3pm for our Beginner Tarot Workshop.

Unlock the mysteries of the tarot, a deck of 78 cards containing rich symbolic imagery and occult wisdom.
Our focus for the workshop will be the history of tarot, choosing and cleansing your deck, components of your deck the major and minor arcana. We will also take a look at numerology within tarot, reading for others, moral obligations as a reader and tarot spreads.
No experience is needed, the workshop is broken down into simplest form for anyone to learn. Join Melinda, Jeremy for the morning as we open your mind to all the possibilities and knowledge that tarot offers. Experience the creative techniques Melinda has used over several years of reading and teaching this age old form of divination.

The Order of the Graham Tradition is Calling All Witches….the Witches Watusi is back and gearing up for another fun season.

I’ve posted a video in the comments of our first years group…what a fantastic time we had.

Registration day to join our witchy dance troop is June 26th 2022 10-4pm Please drop in and register. If you can’t make it for this day please come anytime before.
Registration will take place at 56 Robinson St at Melinda’s Enchanted Cottage.
Rehearsal times, and dates will handed out at the time of registration.
There will be a cost of $25 to cover the cost of the indoor/outdoor rehearsal space.

Who’s in????
No need to be shy, we have plenty of time to rehearse our crazy moves. This is a great opportunity to meet like minded people and have some fun.
Come on out and join in everyone is welcome.

What is the Witches Watusi???
It’s a group of men, women and teens getting together to create a dance, make costumes and preform a dance…did I mention it’s all witchy lol we choose witchy tunes, witchy moves and witchy clothes…the crazier the better lol and it’s just a whole lot of fun. We’ve formed a great friendship with all our witches and can’t wait to start this year.
