On the Fifth day of Cheesemas we have Sapic Cendré🎄
An artisanal raw goat’s milk cheese produced by Fromagerie du Pic, located in Penne, in the Tarn department of the Occitanie region, France. This cheese is distinguished by its unique shape, reminiscent of a small fir tree, giving it a charming and original appearance on a cheese board. The rind of Sapic Cendré is thin, pleated, and covered with a fine layer of vegetable ash. Its paste is chalky at its core and has a thin, creamy layer beneath the rind. On the palate, Sapic Cendré offers a soft and smooth texture, with a fresh and mild goat’s milk flavour that intensifies with age.
