Sober Island Brewing Company The wave hits the Eastern Shore! We are a small town brewery with big ideas. In the summer season we have two Beer Gardens.

"As they explored our coastal waters, legend has it Nova Scotia sailors would toast the discovery of new lands. As you can imagine, navigating the Eastern Shore archipelagos led to more than a few raised glasses. By the time they reached our home, supplies were understandably short and only one name seemed appropriate...Sober Island. But today, warm hospitality and craft ale await all those with an adventurous heart." We provide a dog and family friendly taproom in Sheet Harbour where we offer all of our products, as well as local cider and wines. One behind the taproom in Sheet Harbour and the other located at the Musquodoboit Railway Museum site in Musqudoboit Harbour. It is our goal to bring awareness to, and share, this beautiful place we live in!

We will be open this holiday Monday and we are bringing back Mel Harrigan on the fiddle. Come down and enjoy what will likely be the only nice day of the weekend. Beer garden will open at 1 PM and Music starts at 2 PM.
