Happy new year everyone! As promised we have captured a few photos of the persons we were able to help with the funds raised from this event. Due to covid this has been a challenging task for us but we never stopped working towards completing this goal.

The first group of people we were able to assist was a collaborative effort with The Church of God Temple located on Freeport, Grand Bahama. Special thanks to Pastor Judy Bethel and The Church of God family for helping us complete this journey.

The second group of persons we assisted are the members of the Lively Stone Church of God located in Nassau, Bahamas with the assistance of Pastor Angie Rolle. Some of these members were displaced from their homes by hurricane Dorian but with your donations we were able to be a blessing to these individuals.

We are making efforts to get photos out of Abaco but due to the kids on this island virtually learning at this time we are unable to make this happen. However, if this changes we will be sure to let you guys know. 

Last but not least! We would like to thank each and every one of you who made a donation, shared a post, told a friend or said prayer for the victims of this storm. Your kind gesture and words of encouragement are truly appreciated.

Hi everyone,

I hope all is well! I just wanted to give you guys an update on our fundraiser. After making a few trips to WesternUnion things are finally in motion. Once the supplies / gift cards are purchased, I will be posting pictures for everyone to see how we were able to help our brothers and sisters in The Bahamas. As you would imagine coordinating everything from another country and running into so many obstacles has been challenging but we are almost there!

Good morning,

We hope everyone is doing okay and enjoying their time with family/friends as the holidays are approaching. We just wanted to update you guys on where we are with sending supplies.

We haven’t sent any supplies as yet because we were advised not to. There is an issue with items being held and not being released to the intended recipient. However, we are currently looking at other avenues which includes buying gift cards or sending the funds and having the items purchased in The Bahamas since stores are now open. If anyone has any other suggestions or ideas, please let us know.

It has already been over a week since we had our first bahamastrong pub night and it was a success. We would like to thank everyone who came out and supported the event and to the persons who were unable to be apart of the festivities, but purchased a support ticket you are appreciated. This event would not have been possible without you all. A huge shout out also goes to the The Canadian Motor Hotel, Upper Deck And Night Club for hosting the event and making sure everything was what we imagined. We were able to raise 4,017.55 and the process of purchasing supplies will begin shortly. Thank you all once again and God bless!
