King’s Counsel (K.C.) Designation — Applications Now Open. CBA Saskatchewan is now accepting applications from eligible members for consideration for the prestigious King’s Counsel (K.C.) designation.

Selected applicants may be recommended to the Ministry of Justice as part of the selection process.

If you’re an eligible CBA-SK member, now is the time to put your name forward and be considered for this distinguished recognition of achievement and contribution to the legal profession.

The Canadian Bar Association, Saskatchewan Branch is pleased to welcome Angela Stolz as its new Branch President for the 2026–27 term, effective September 1, 2026.

Angela is a Partner at McDougall Gauley LLP, where she practices primarily in construction litigation and environmental law. Born and raised in Regina, she has been actively involved with the CBA throughout her legal career, including serving as Vice-Chair and Chair of the Environment and Resources Law Section and as the Section’s Legislation and Law Reform Representative.

As President, Angela looks forward to connecting with CBA Saskatchewan’s diverse membership and continuing to build an organization that supports the evolving needs of the legal profession.

We’re excited to welcome Angela to the role and wish her every success in the year ahead! 👏

CBA Saskatchewan also welcomes Leah Howie as Treasurer and thanks outgoing Past President Mark Dolan, K.C., for four years of dedicated service to the Board.
