There’s something about Brownstones after 8pm.

The game is on, the lights settle in, the energy picks up, and the night starts to feel like exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Every night after 8pm, our appetizers are only $12 until close, making it the perfect excuse to settle in, grab a table, and enjoy the playoffs on one of our three massive screens.

Not into sports? No problem.

Our patio is open, the summer vibe is rolling, and it’s the perfect spot to slow things down with great food, cold drinks, and good company. And if you’re looking for something a little more relaxed, our dining room gives you that easy, comfortable Brownstones feel where the night can move at your own pace.

Shown here are just 4 of the 14 appetizers included in our $12 after 8pm lineup, Wings, Mozzarella jalapeño bombs, Philly eggrolls, and Buttermilk Tenders.

Whether you’re here for the game, the patio, the food, or just a better way to end the day, Brownstones after 8pm is one of the best little nights out in the city.

$12 appetizers. Every night. After 8pm until close.
Come hungry. Stay a while. The night gets better at Brownstones.

I’ve always had a soft spot for a great seafood melt.

There’s just something about warm seafood, melted cheese, a toasted bun, and that creamy finish that feels like comfort food with a little coastal attitude. But I never wanted to make one just to say we had one. If we were going to do a seafood melt at Brownstones, it had to feel like us.

So last week, I started playing around with one.
A toasted pretzel hoagie.
A warm seafood blend with shrimp and sweet crab-style flavour.
A little garlic, lemon, green onion, celery, and seafood seasoning.
Then we blanket it with melted mozzarella until it gets bubbly, golden, and ridiculous in the best way.

To finish it off, we hit it with our dill pickle aioli, cool, creamy, bright, and just sharp enough to cut through the richness.
The result is something I’m genuinely excited about.
Introducing the Brownstones Coastal Melt.

It has that creamy seafood melt comfort, the saltiness of the pretzel hoagie, the stretch of melted mozzarella, a gentle coastal seasoning, and that fresh dill lemon finish that makes every bite feel balanced instead of heavy.
It’s warm. It’s cheesy. It’s a little messy. It’s loaded with flavour.
And honestly, it tastes like something that belongs on the Brownstones menu.
Come try the Brownstones Coastal Melt and let us know what you think. This one might just become a new favourite.

There’s something about a sunny day on the Brownstones patio.

Last week, our friends at Prail’s Greenhouse brought the patio to life with these beautiful blooming flowers, and today they’re showing off in full colour. The umbrellas are out, the sun is warm, and the whole patio has that perfect summer feeling.
This is exactly the kind of day made for sipping a cold Sangria, relaxing with friends, and digging into the new Jalapeño Mozzarella Bombs that have quickly become one of the stars of our summer menu launch.
Crispy, cheesy, a little spicy, and seriously addictive, they’ve been getting a lot of love already, and we get it.

So if you’ve been waiting for the perfect patio day, this is it.
Come soak up the sunshine, enjoy the flowers, grab a Sangria, and taste what everyone’s been talking about.

The first name on the Brownstones Cup belongs to Sentry Fire.

This past weekend, we held our first annual Brownstones Huron House Boys’ Home Charity Golf Tournament, and Mother Nature decided to make sure nobody would ever forget it.
Cold. Wet. Miserable. The kind of weather that makes most people look out the window and say, “Not today.”
But not this group.

120 golfers showed up, suited up, and battled through some of the worst tournament weather anyone could remember. And somehow, through the rain, the wind, and the soaked gloves, the day still turned into exactly what it was meant to be: a great group of people coming together, having fun, and raising money for a very worthy cause.

A huge congratulations to Matt Vince and the boys from Sentry Fire, our first ever champions, seen here proudly holding the Brownstones Cup. They will be the first names engraved on what we hope becomes a long-standing tradition in our community.

This tournament was never just about golf.
It was about showing up.
It was about community.
It was about supporting the incredible work done by Huron House Boys’ Home.
And it was about proving that a little bad weather does not stop good people from doing something meaningful.

A massive thank you goes out to John Longo for organizing this event and putting the pieces together. Thank you to all the volunteers from Huron House Boys’ Home who helped make the day run flawlessly, even if the weather had other plans.

To every sponsor who donated so generously, and to every golfer who showed up, laughed through the elements, supported the cause, and made the day what it was: thank you.

The first Brownstones Cup is officially in the books.
And if this is what year one looked like in miserable weather… we cannot wait to see what this tournament becomes.
Congratulations again to Sentry Fire, your names go on the Cup first.
See everyone next year.

It finally feels like May showed up.

After waiting on this weather for what feels like forever, the sun is out, the air is warm, and Brownstones is kicking open the door to summer the only way we know how, with big flavour, cold drinks, and a few new reasons to get excited about coming in.

Today marks the start of our Summer Preview Menu, and this is just a taste of what we’ve been working on.

The kitchen has been playing with some fun new features, and yes… those housemade Jalapeño Mozzarella Bombs that have already been causing a stir are part of it. Crispy, cheesy, a little spicy, and exactly the kind of thing that disappears fast once it hits the table.

We’ve also got summer-style sandwiches, fresh new flavours, and a few menu items built for patio days, game nights, after-work stops, and those “let’s just go to Brownstones” kind of afternoons.

And the bar didn’t sit this one out either.
The Chocolate Banana Colada is one of the new summer drinks making its debut, creamy, tropical, cold, and dangerously easy to enjoy when the weather feels like this.

This preview menu is not the whole summer story.
It’s the first page.
Come in today, grab a table, try something new, and help us kick off the season the Brownstones way.
Good food. Cold drinks. Big flavour.
And finally… a little sunshine to go with it.
Summer Preview Menu starts today at Brownstones.

Friday has officially arrived, Sarnia.

It’s shaping up to be one of those cool Fridays with a wet weekend rolling in, which means one thing: it’s a perfect day to settle into Brownstones, grab something hot, something crispy, and something cold.

Today we’ve got our Fish & Chips on for just $13.99. Golden, crispy, and exactly the kind of comfort food this weather is calling for.

And to make Friday feel even better, our famous quart bottles all the way from Quebec are just $8.99 while supplies last.
Now, these quarts don’t just magically show up looking perfect. They come in a little dusty from the warehouse, so May-Lee who is also from Quebec, is back there giving them the proper Quebec treatment and polishing them up so they’re cold, clean, and ready when you arrive.

Fish & chips. Cold quarts. Friday energy. Rainy weekend comfort.
Come on in and let us take care of the start of your weekend.
Brownstones is ready for you.

Our Summer Feature Menu isn’t just about the food… the bar got involved too.

Coming Monday, May 25th, Brownstones is rolling out our new Summer Feature Menu, and this time our bartenders decided the food shouldn’t have all the fun.

First up…
Chocolate Banana Colada
A creamy tropical blend of banana, chocolate, coconut, and pineapple with a smooth island finish. It’s part dessert, part vacation, and fully summer.

Then we’ve got…
Spicy Pineapple Whiskey Mule
Served in the classic copper mug, this one brings whiskey, pineapple, lime, and ginger beer together with a smooth tropical heat that hits just right.

Patio weather. Game nights. After work drinks. Summer dinners.
These were built for all of it.

Our new Summer Feature Menu launches Monday, May 25th with new food, new drinks, and a few reasons to make Brownstones your summer spot.
Come hungry. Come thirsty. Summer starts here.

Game 6 tonight. Montreal vs. Buffalo.
This is the kind of night sports bars were built for.

The Habs have a chance to close out the series tonight, and you already know the room is going to have that playoff energy, big screens on, sound up, cold drinks moving, and every table locked into the game.

And because it’s a game night kind of day, we’re putting all of our handmade burgers on special.

If you’ve never had our Blue Cheese Burger, tonight is the night.
A charbroiled handmade burger topped with sautéed cremini mushrooms, caramelized onions, and finished with rich Stilton blue cheese. It’s bold, messy, smoky, salty, and exactly the kind of burger that belongs beside a playoff game.

Then after 8PM, we’re keeping the night rolling with all appetizers just $12.

Burgers before puck drop. Apps after 8. Game 6 all night.
Montreal has a chance to close it out.
Brownstones is where you want to watch it.

Tonight at Brownstones.
Game 6. Burgers on special. $12 apps after 8PM.
Playoff night done right.
