💕Excitement for the future/gratitude post: 💕

In February 2023 we got our incorporation documents for Haven Music Hall. That was the first step on the journey of renovations and building a place we hoped could grow and support music and art in Saint John. I’m so excited for what’s coming next for us, and so grateful for our community’s support, patience, and guidance while we tackle this project. Haven Music Hall is truly supported. I am moved by all the generosity, the musicians who’ve taken a chance on us, the events that have been produced here that completely took us by surprise. It is a stressful time for musicians, for small venues, for everyone. Sometimes the stress is overwhelming, but I am incredibly lucky to do this work with you all.
Haven is going through a growth spurt, we’re aiming to take on new and more ambitious programming and expand our team. One half of the ownership team, the incredible Sidney, is taking a step back from Haven to focus on her health and new ventures. Sidney, like a lot of artists, doesn’t seek out public displays of gratitude, but she can’t stop me from saying that she has been incredible to work with on this insanely huge project, and her place in the music scene is impactful and deserved. Thank you for starting this place with me and continuing to champion it, and forever being a professional fan. Not a lot of people get to do stuff like this with their best friend, and I’m so glad you’re mine
