This will be a long oneā¦.. (and sappy) Because how do you fit 10 years into a single post!
We have officially hit the midway mark in the season and Itās hard to believe that a decade has passed since we first unlocked the doors of the Treadwell Inn.
When we took over the Inn, our vision was to create a place that felt like home while still offering the little luxuries that make a stay memorable. Every room, every detail, every improvement has been made with that vision in mind.
A year later came an even bigger leap of faith: The Chandler Room. We started with an empty space and no commercial kitchen, just a belief that St. Andrews deserved another dining experience that celebrated great food, great w**e, and warm hospitality. Watching it grow into what it has become has been more rewarding than we ever imagined.
None of this would have been possible without our team, who have poured their hearts into what we do, and without the locals who made us part of their community and the visitors who continue to return year after year. Some of you have stayed with us once, others dozens of times. Some have celebrated anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, and reunions here. Many have become friends. Your support has meant more than youāll ever know.
There are still moments when we stop, look out over the harbour, watch the tide roll in, and think, we get to do this!?! We never take that viewāor the privilege of welcoming you into this placeāfor granted.
Ten years has brought plenty of hard work, uncertainty, long days, and lessons learned. But itās also brought unforgettable memories, countless conversations over good food and w**e, and a deep appreciation for this beautiful corner of the world we get to call home.
Thank you for being part of our story. Whether youāve joined us for a single glass of w**e, a weekend getaway, or youāve been cheering us on since day one, youāve helped shape what Treadwell Inn and the Chandler Room have become.
