The team here Thirsty Rooster Eatery & Bar want to thank St Albert’s very own band, Mourning Wood for a fantastic live music weekend.
Unfortunately it will be the last time we host live, local music on our stage here at Thirsty Rooster.
It’s time for a new era here at our location.
After 4 1/2 years we have decided to pass along this location to a new operator.
Thank you St Albert for 4 1/2 years of cheers, toasts, smiles and so many hello’s.
But this isn’t an easy business, it never really was easy, but so many challenges have presented over the past five years from inflation, Covid, and so many other things.
We leave proud of the almost $100,000 that was raised for various charities and causes here at Thirsty Rooster by this amazing staff and family.
We love you all very much.
Please get out and support the local venues that remain, Jade Village, LB’s (still supporting live music), Dicey Riley’s, The Ridge, DJ”s Pizza (thank you Diana for being such a great friend and member of the business community), and others, find them, support them, or they will be lost.
To the new owner/operator, we wish you all the best, welcome to St Albert. You have an amazing community to serve. We will be in to support your new venture and encourage everyone to come do the same.

We will miss you.
We will be open Sunday and Monday if you would like to come by for a final pint or a bite with us here at Thirsty Rooster.
To the 171 Alberta suppliers including breweries, distilleries, butcher shops, food companies, and so many others, we support others to support you and we will be coming your way to support you ourselves anytime we can. Thank you for being fresh, amazing, so supportive and most importantly LOCAL. We all need to work to support you, including, but not limited to, Meathead Inc Butcher Shop (thank you Teddy and Ken), D’Arcy’s Meats, District Distillery, Endeavour Brewing (thank you Matt and Georgia) Polar Park (thanks Chad and Rob), Alley Kat Brewing (Cameron), Big Rock, Ravenwolf, and so many others.
