Ron performed an encore at our house concert, something I never thought he'd do, especially after ending his second full set with "Sonny's Dream". He put his guitar down, invited his bass/chapman stick accompanist to sit among us in the crowd, and belted out this gospel song acapella. Before the show everyone whispered "How is is voice?", "Can he still sing?", "Does he still have it?". This performance removed any remaining doubt. We are so fortunate he stopped at Four Corners between the February snowstorms and highway closures and filled our parlour with his amazing voice, words and talent.
