Meet Shaelyn!🧡🐬

Whether she's behind the bar or serving your table, Shae always brings a smile (and her contagious laugh) to every shift. This is her second summer at The Galley, and each day is a little more fun with her around.😇

Outside of work, Shae is completing her Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Ottawa after graduating with her Bachelor of Health Sciences last year. 🩺 She loves music and concerts (big pop girly!🤠), getting creative with crafts, staying active, and having fun with friends. She's recently become a fan of cycling and plans to tackle the Big Rideau Lake Loop with Robin before the summer is over!🚵🏼‍♀️

Her favourite part of working at The Galley is the incredible crew (of course!) and watching the sunsets over the lake after a busy shift. If she's sticking around for dinner, you'll probably find her ordering the Cajun Shrimp Tacos.🌅

🥩 Whiskey Peppercorn AAA Striploin - striploin, grilled to your liking and finished with our house-made whiskey peppercorn demi-glace and herb butter, baked potato and sautéed broccoli and local garlic snapes

🍖Rib N Wing Meal - half rack of hickory smoked ribs in our craft-beer bbq sauce, wings in your choice of sauce, served with fries

If you haven’t already… Meet Robin!☀️🫶🏻

Robin has been part of the Len’s Cove and Galley crew for 7 years, but what started as a summer job washing boats and serving tables while she was in college has grown into a career in marketing and events that she genuinely loves.🌟

Over the years she’s worn more hats than we can count, but one thing has never changed - her favourite part of the job is the people. From the crew she gets to work alongside every day to the customers who come back year after year, it’s those relationships that make Len’s Cove feel like home.🩷

Outside of work, Robin loves staying active - running, hiking, practicing yoga, or spending time with friends and family. And for someone who’s rarely seen without a coffee in hand, it should come as no surprise that her favourite Galley cocktail is her famous Espresso Martini.☕️🧘🏼‍♀️

Meet Sarah!🦋☀️

If Sarah looks familiar, you might recognize her from the marina front desk, where she helps keep things running year-round! This year she also got to experience her very first Ottawa Boat Show (which she absolutely loved!). This is her second summer serving at The Galley, and she loves working alongside the crew here.

When she’s not at work, Sarah is usually spending time with her family, enjoying bonfires, or driving her two boys from one hockey rink to the next.🏒 This summer, she’s looking forward to getting out on the water even more with her husband and boys, whether it’s by boat or kayak. 🚤🛶

When it comes to The Galley menu, Sarah can’t resist the Coconut Shrimp… and she’s always hoping Robin’s famous tomato soup is on feature. 😉🍅

Meet Amy!☀️👩‍🏫

This is Amy's second summer at The Galley, and if you've had the chance to meet her, you probably already know her outgoing, bubbly personality firsthand.

Amy has been busy completing her Bachelor of Education (graduating last week with Honours, Magna Cum Laude!) after earning her Bachelor of Science Honours degree in pyschology with a minor in chemistry - safe to say this girl is passionate about learning and teaching!🔬📖

When she's not at The Galley, Amy loves spending time with family and friends, playing softball, and making the most of her summer. Her favourite part of working here? The incredible crew she gets to work with every day. She says the coconut shrimp are a must-try, and her favourite dish is the green curry noodle bowl.🌴🥥

Meet Beth!🌸☀️

Beth has been part of The Galley crew for 9 years, and if you've ever felt especially welcomed when you walked through our doors, there's a good chance she had something to do with it. She loves being part of such a wonderful team and helping take care of people while they're out enjoying life on the water.

Outside of The Galley, Beth is a proud mom to two girls (one of them being Jenna, a familiar face around here, too!). In her spare time, you'll find her swimming, gardening, and making the most of summer, definitely in that order. 🌊🌷

With her warm personality and welcoming smile, Beth has a way of making everyone feel right at home. We're lucky to have her as part of the crew. 💕

Meet Lera!☀️🌊

Lera has officially been part of the crew for 6 years, but her connection to Len's Cove goes waaaay back. As the daughter of owners Sean and Val, let's just say she's been a fan since birth.😉 Over the years, she's done a little bit of everything, from boat cleaning and dishwashing to line cook, server, and now Front of House Supervisor.

When she's not at The Galley, Lera is studying Economics at Queen's University, with a minor in Employment Relations while working toward her Smith Certificate in Business. Outside of school and work, she loves yoga, surfing, spending time with family, and never misses a chance to cheer on the Dallas Cowboys. 🏈

Her favourite part of working at The Galley is seeing how happy people are to be on the water and building genuine relationships with customers. This summer, she's looking forward to sunshine, warm weather, and a busy patio after a long winter. Her favourite thing on the menu? Maison Champy Chardonnay. She's even visited the winery in Beaune, France!🍾🇫🇷

Meet Ryann!💕☀️
If you've spent any time around The Galley or Len's Cove over the last few years, chances are you've met Ryann. She's been part of the crew since 2021 (and a Galley customer long before that, swipe for the then and now!) And is known by many as a ray of sunshine.

When she's not being an icon of customer service, Ryann is studying Concurrent Education and Child & Family Studies at Nipissing University. She's also a passionate advocate for Canadian Blood Services, sharing her story and inspiring others while bravely stepping outside her comfort zone and tackling public speaking head-on. I

n her free time, you'll find her out on the water, enjoying island fries, sipping a cosmo, and spreading her positivity wherever she goes.🌊🍸 Everyone say hi Ryann!

Meet Maddy!👋

New to the crew this season, Maddy is pulling double duty between the restaurant and the marina store - and somehow still finds time to stay active, spend time outdoors, get lost in a good book, and dabble in watersports!🏄📖

When summer comes to and end, she'll be heading back to UNB to play center for the university hockey team and continue her studies in Business Administration🏒

We couldn't be happier that she chose to spend her summer here, everyone say hi!⬇️
