Sad day yesterday .

Those who live in the village know the magnificent wild tree that was growing in the corner of our parking lot .
That tree has seen many outdoors concerts during our music summers . It also provided a screen to the building behind us .

Unfortunately we came yesterday to discover that it ( among other trees ) was cut down by the instruction of the landlord !

Now it looks like another bare parking lot !

What a shame !
