🍻 10 YEARS. 430 RUNNERS. ONE INCREDIBLE DAY. 💛

What a day, Penticton.

Before we say anything else, we just want to say THANK YOU.

To the 430 people who signed up to walk, run, laugh, dress up, taste their way around Penticton and celebrate 10 years of the Penticton B**r Run with us... you were AMAZING.

To our breweries and c***ries/bubbles who poured the drinks, our restaurants who fed everyone, our downtown businesses who opened their doors, our sponsors who helped make it possible, and our volunteers and Hoodoo crew who kept hundreds of people moving around the course... thank you for showing up for this event.

And to everyone who joined us at Okanagan Lake Park afterward - dancing, eating, drinking, playing and cheering people across the finish line - you made the finish party exactly what we hoped it would be.

Ten years ago, this started as a slightly ridiculous idea involving running and b**r. 😂🍺

Ten years later, it's become something much bigger... a day that brings people together, supports local businesses, fills our downtown and helps us continue creating opportunities to get kids outside.

And judging by these photos... you understood the assignment. 😂

On Saturday, October 3, come down to Okanagan Lake Park and help us celebrate 10 YEARS of the Penticton B**r Run - whether you ran, walked, cheered from the sidelines, or just really like b**r, food and live music.

These guys specialize in exactly what their name suggests — interactive games, giant games, photo experiences and the kind of ridiculous event entertainment that creates some pretty memorable moments.

So B**r Runners...

Get ready to play. Get ready to pose. And DEFINITELY get ready for photos.

Because if you're going to spend a Saturday walking around Penticton dressed in an outrageous costume drinking tiny b**rs...

Our friends at Socialē have revealed what they're serving our B**r Runners this year, to give you a taste of what to expect at this year's run...

Bite-Sized Socialē Bruschetta 🍅

Grilled baguette topped with whipped goat cheese, roasted tomatoes and fresh basil.

A smaller version of one of their most popular dishes — made B**r Run sized so you can grab it, enjoy it and keep working your way along the course.

You'll find Socialē at Stop #11, paired with Firehall Brewery.

B**r + bruschetta + the Okanagan lakefront?

We can work with that. 😍

🎶 LIVE MUSIC AT THE FINISH LINE!

Because after 7.5 km of b**r, c***r, food and questionable athleticism... you deserve a band. 😂🎶

The Pub Crawlers are joining us at the finish line of the 10th Annual Penticton B**r Run!

We'll have the two-piece Pub Crawlers bringing the tunes from 1–3 PM at Okanagan Lake Park while B**r Runners roll across the finish line and the party gets underway.

Grab some food from the food trucks.
Get yourself a b**r or c***r.
Find your friends.
Stay awhile.

And here's the important part:

The finish-line party is open to EVERYONE!

You don't have to be registered for the B**r Run to come down, grab lunch, enjoy a b**r or c***r and help us raise money for our kids' outdoor programs.

🙋 CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!

Want to be part of the B**r Run without actually having to run... or walk... 7.5 km? 😂

We need a few more awesome humans to help us bring the 10th Annual Penticton B**r Run to life on October 3!

With around 400 B**r Runners, 15 stops and a brand-new course, it takes a small army of volunteers to keep everyone headed in the right direction and the fun flowing.

We need help with things like:

🍺 Course stops
👉 Course direction & intersections
🎉 Start/finish line
🏃 Keeping our B**r Runners moving
📣 General event-day fun and shenanigans

No B**r Run experience required. Just bring a smile, a willingness to help and perhaps a healthy appreciation for people running around Penticton in ridiculous costumes.
