Happy Tuesday everyone, it's been a minute or two since we posted anything. However we have some updates on Paint and Sip Nights and our new summer drink, menu and features.

We are hosting two more Paint and Sip events to end the season. June 2nd 6pm-9pm is paint a portrait of your pet!! June 16th 6pm-9pm is paint your potted plant. Visit colorbrushcanvas.ca for more information and to book your seat.

We have added some great new local products on tap for summer!!!

From Tin Whistle their Really Good Lite Beer ( 4% IPA)

From Yellow Dog Spirits their Hombre Lime Margarita Seltzer ( 7% carbonated lime margarita served on ice with a salted rim )

From Upside Cider their Sweetheart Cherry Cider ( 7% tart apple/cherry cider served on ice )

Lastly this summer our drink feature is SKINNY VODKAS!! 5 different flavored vodkas to choose from mixed club soda and garnish ( $5 singles and $9 doubles ) everyday open to close!

Also we are bringing back the Spiked Arnold Palmer Limoncello and the Limoncello Spritz from last year, both come as doubles and are $14 each.

Join us Tuesday, June 2nd from 6pm-9pm for a social night out creating in a cozy, rustic, German pub dining room at Gasthaus on the Lake in Peachland!

No experience necessary as you will receive step by step instructions from Kelowna artist, Meshel Lindstrand of Colorbrush Canvas.

All supplies provided—including use of professional brushes, apron, easel, water soluble acrylic paint and a 16x20 canvas.

For only $60, you receive any speciality alcoholic or mocktail beverage or your choice along with three hours of creative instruction.

Delicious German menu items also available for an extra fee. Although you can eat while painting, if you would like to come early for a sit down dinner, please call the restaurant to book in a table reservation: (250) 767-6625

Happy Friday everyone!! Just a reminder that this is the last few days to enter our draw for an invitation to our Memorial Cup launch party and ticket giveaway. Visit the Gasthaus on the Lake, Neighborhood Brewing, Yellow Dog Brewing, or Tin Whistle Brewing this weekend to enter. May 2nd all 3 breweries will be on our patio doing a pop-up tasting room. 80 lucky winners plus a guest will be invited to the event, $5 glasses and $7 pints throughout the event. Food specials, you'll be able to purchase product to take home cheaper than from the liquor store. 6 lucky guests will win 1 pair of tickets to one of the round robin games and then 1 guest will win the grand prize of a pair of tickets to both the semifinal and final games. Happy Monday everyone! Our bottle drive fundraiser for the Peachland Thunder U17 Girls Fastball Team was a huge success. A total of 11,153 refundable empties were donated for a total amount of $1060.60!! With the hotdog sales and raffle tickets sold the total raised is $1205.25!! Also a cash donation of $265.15 will go to the Peachland Food Bank. The Gasthaus team wants to give a huge thank you to Tracy and Aleesha from 2 Girls 1 Truck for their hard work. If you have a need for rubbish or junk removal please visit their website www.2girls1truck.ca They are a credit to our community and a multitude winner of the Best of Kelowna Gold Award. We'd also like to thank the Peachland IGA for donating the hotdog buns, Sysco Foods for donating the hotdogs, Interior Beverage for donating the beverages. Lastly a huge thank you to our amazing community and your support of local businesses and non-profit associations!!

Happy Friday everyone!! Don't forget Saturday April 11th from 11am to 3pm we are hosting a bottle drive fundraising event for the Peachland Thunder U17 Girls Fastball Team. Drop off your refundable empties at the United Church parking lot behind the Gasthaus and you'll receive a discount card for 20% off your entire bill including beverages at the Gasthaus. Valid until April 30th. We'll be selling hotdogs and a pop for $5 at the drop off area. 75% of all proceeds will go to the Peachland Thunder and 25% will go to the Peachland Food Bank
