The Gasthaus team is deeply honored to have had the privilege of hosting the courageous Air Attack Commander, Pilots, and Engineers of the CONAIR fire retardant team, who have demonstrated unwavering bravery and selflessness in their tireless efforts to safeguard our community from the devastating Bald Range Wildfire. We have had the privilege of meeting and supporting numerous unsung heroes, including fearless frontline firefighters, heavy equipment operators, volunteers, and evacuees, who have inspired us with their remarkable stories of resilience, compassion, and unshakeable commitment. We have been moved by their heart-wrenching accounts of sleepless nights, endless hours of battling the blaze, and the profound emotional toll it takes on them and their families. We have witnessed firsthand their worn-out boots, their exhausted faces, and their indomitable spirit. This experience has reinforced our deepest gratitude for the community we serve and our unwavering commitment to giving back to those who enable us to operate our business every day. We are reminded of the transformative power of community, of coming together in times of need, and of the heroic work that our local champions do to keep us safe.
