History of Mystery shot jar:
A couple of guy came in one night wanted to have fun and do some shots. I have a book of shots and we were picking random shots from there. Later on I thought why not give me a number and whatever shot on that page will be your next shot. Then I thought this is fun. Maybe instead of going thru this book why not write it down and just pick one from a jar 🤷‍♀️ Since then it became popular specially to a group of friends hanging out together.

A couple came in for supper few days ago. They're from outside of Oxbow and comes in maybe once a week for supper. The guy came up to me and said "sorry but I got to ask, how do you keep your lights on if most of the time it's this quiet? coz I've seen a lot of bars shut down coz they can't keep up with bills"
Me: I work. A lot. lol
Him: Please please stay open. We don't want you shut down coz we really love your food here.

A quick and simple conversation full of appreciation.
