lights, outdoor patio, artists green room, set up for catering (kitchen). Right above the amazing Heartwood Home store (and cafe) on the main level! Please note that due to the fact that we are a 2nd floor location there are 25 stairs and 2 landings at front entrance. We apologize that we are non-accessible (nor are the washrooms accessible).

SUNDAY June 28th: THE BLUE WATER JAZZ COLLECTIVE QUINTET at Parkwood Restaurant! High Energy Modern Music with THE BLUE WATER JAZZ COLLECTIVE!

Join us for a special quintet summer jazz performance that brings an exciting, modern high-energy approach to iconic jazz standards. Featured guests include acclaimed tenor saxophonist JASON HUNTER, along with his nephew, rising young guitarist THALES HUNTER, a 22-year-old emerging talent from Toronto’s vibrant jazz scene.

Guided by Steinhart’s re-imagined arrangements, the music blends modern and traditional iconic jazz standards with exciting new rhythmic approaches. The program moves from medium and up-tempo hard-driving swing through Latin grooves, high-energy funk, 12/8 slow blues, and Stu’s original hip-hop-inspired feature, Blue Stew. Virtuosic improvisation and deep musical interplay anchor Blue Water Jazz Collective’s inventive, contemporary sound.

WEDNESDAY SEPT. 23rd. HARRY MANX has a new record being released this August! “Falling Upwards” RELEASE DATE Aug 27th 2026! Canada’s own HARRY MANX has found some new inspiration and is releasing a whole new album of material he'll be showcasing at Heartwood Concert Hall in September!

Harry Manx has spent years fusing eastern musical traditions with the blues, switching effortlessly between conventional guitars, harmonica, and banjo and the decidedly different Mohan veena, a 20-stringed instrument invented by Manx’ Indian mentor Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. Manx is often referred to as the “Mysticssippi” Blues Man, because of his expertise in melding both East and West music together and therefore, “creating musical short stories that wed the Blues with the depth of classical Indian ragas”.

Over the last 10 years, Harry Manx released 11 Albums and has garnered a room full of awards including, “seven Maple Blues Awards, six Juno nominations, the Canadian Folk Award in 2005 for Best Solo Artist and won CBC Radio’s “Great Canadian Blues Award” in 2007″. His most recent accomplishment was receiving yet another Juno Nomination for “Blues Album of the Year”, for his release, “Bread and Buddha” in 2010.

SATURDAY JUNE 27th MATINEE with ONTARIANS at Parkwood Restaurant! GREAT MUSIC PLUS A STELLAR PWYC MUSIC SHOW, it does not get any better! ONTARIANS are a Canadian roots-rock/Americana band heavily influenced by The Band, Neil Young, and Blue Rodeo. Founded by songwriters Frank Deresti (Sault Ste. Marie) and Craig Smith (Collingwood), the five-piece band (incl. Jay Stiles) released their debut album, The Greatest Short Story Never Told, in 2021, followed by More How It Is. 2024, PLUS they'll be a part of the upcoming FOUR WINDS MUSIC FESTIVAL in Durham, On. July 10 - 12th! Catch these regional favourites at both Parkwood and the festival!

BIG BAD WOLF w/THE BLUESHIFT HORNS will be warming up the stage, and NUCLEAR VIBES with the BIG BAND & HORN SECTION will follow and kick this summer into high gear!

BIG BAD WOLF are a blues-inspired 7-piece band travelling traditional blues roads from Howlin’ Wolf to Taj Mahal; taking musical side trips through New Orleans and Chicago; and even making pit stops at some more modern R&B and popular music attractions. Blues and jazz-tinged guitar and horn licks ride on the muscle-car rumble of a well-oiled rhythm section, while howls and sweet harmonies fill the back seat! Grab your basket, tie up your hood and take a trip with Big Bad Wolf! (Larry White & Steve Morel from Higher Funktion, Joel Dawson from The Mackenzie Blues Band, and Brian O'Rourke)

NUCLEAR VIBES is a husband-and-wife blues rock duo bringing authentic love and soulful sound to Ontario. We know what you’re thinking: “Wait… that’s a Thursday!” Don’t sweat it. We’ve got the “Thursday Night Protocol” ready to go. We promise a high-octane night of Top 40 hits, timeless throwbacks, and dancefloor anthems that’ll keep you moving—and we’ll still have you tucked into bed at a semi-responsible hour. Think of it as the ultimate “Friday Eve” celebration.
