Thornton Arms Pub was established in 2003 and is located in the plaza on the south east corner of Thornton and Rossland Road in Oshawa close to the Whitby border. We have a menu to suit everyone's appetite from breakfast, steaks, pastas and chicken dishes, sandwiches and wraps to a wide variety of appetizers. Our full menu is also available for take out. We also prepare party platters of veggies, wings, meatballs, and a wide variety of sandwiches and other items to suit your needs. We have hosted many functions over the years from team parties, birthday parties, anniversaries to business meetings. We are licenced for 140 people and have a 10 foot HD big screen TV to watch all the sports action on . We also have Leafs TV so as not to miss any games that are not shown on regular TV channels. Our patio which is licenced for 40 people and is open May through September.

We are currently seeking EXPERIENCED mature applicants to fill the positions of Permanent P/T & F/T Bartender/Server at Thornton Arms Pub & Grill!
Must be able to work Weekends. Must be available to work special days like Valentines, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve.

Duties include but not limited to:
- Greet customers and take their drink & food orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Upsell and promote drink specials or menu items
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service
