Union Brewing is looking for a dynamic and process driven individual to hold the “Head Brewer” position at our brand new production facility+taproom in Oromocto, NB!

The Head Brewer works in conjunction with the Operations/General Manager to ensure a timely, safe and quality focused production is maintained facility wide.

The Head Brewers responsibilities are, but not limited to: * Leading the entire brewing process from ingredient selection to fermentation, packaging, and storage, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
* Develop and refine recipes to create craft beers that meet market trends and customer preferences.
* Maintain rigorous sanitation protocols throughout all brewing and packaging areas to ensure product safety and compliance with company and food health standards.
* Manage equipment maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and upgrades to optimize brewing efficiency and minimize downtime.
* Supervise warehouse operations related to raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished product storage, including forklift operation when necessary.
* Supervision and training of accessory staff may be required, process depending.
* Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory mandates to maintain safe, effective and lawful production.
* Uphold company culture, and continue the pursuit of excellence in process and customer experience. This position is subject to a 6 month probation period, with a 1 year performance review.

Salary will be determined based upon previous experience and is negotiable.

Minimum Requirements:

* Proven experience in brewing within a craft beer or food manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of brewing processes.
* Mechanical knowledge related to brewery equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
* Familiarity with sanitation procedures, HACCP, CGMP standards, and food safety regulations.
* Prior warehouse experience including inventory management and forklift operation certification preferred.
* Knowledge of packaging processes for beverages or food products.
* Strong background in manufacturing operations with an emphasis on quality control and safety standards.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

This position is subject to a 6 month probation period, with a 1 year performance review.
