It's been a minute since a new brewery taproom has opened in this area. Coming soon in Oromocto is Union Brewing. They have been brewing beer off and on for a while but is upping their game with a new beautiful taproom. They will be located just off Blackwatch Avenue

As soon as they have an opening date we hope they will share with The Fredericton Word (friend of all local breweries 🍺 )

They will be teaming up with the amazing The Rocky Lemon for snacks and treats in the taproom.

Also they are currently hiring so spread the word.

Union Brewing is looking for outgoing and customer oriented personnel to serve in their brand new brewery + taproom in Oromocto, NB.

This position is on the front lines of customer service! We expect you to have an in depth knowledge of the products we are selling (training provided), as well as cleanly work practices and timely attitude.

Duties are, but not limited to:

-Serving pints of craft beer, glasses of wine, and mixing simple cocktails.

-Cleaning of bar and seating area when needed.

-Stocking of merchandise shelves including clothing racks and take-out fridge.

-Maintaining the taproom atmosphere! Sometimes you will need to play DJ while you pour!

-Aiding in the preparation for daily events.

-Aiding in packaging events in the brewhouse when needed.

-Working closely with management to ensure all company values are upheld, and that the customer gets to experience the best we can offer!

Some requirements:

Lifting up to 40kg.

Remaining flexible for scheduling. Days, evenings and weekends may be required.

Assets:

Past Safe Serve training 

Previous Craft Beer/Taproom experience

Familiarity with POS systems and merchandising

Salary to be discussed based on previous experience!
