Well folks, one more memory for rack'em on the way out!!!!!🙌
On top of already having 2 of our ladies win a spot in the ladies world team championship in Las Vegas and one of our teams ( hittin and hopin) have won a world championship spot in las Vegas and one of the top juniors in the country winning the jr. Championship as well as just finishing 5th in the apa junior championship in St..Louis....I am now also proud to announced that myself (greg johnson) and my lovely girlfriend (Amanda Donnelly) have just won the jack and jill scotch doubles world qualifier and will be going to Las Vegas as well to play in the jack and jill world championship.
Great representation from our hall for the CPA pool league out of rackem!!!!👍👍🎉

Hello everyone

It is with great sadness today that I announce that negotiations have broken off regarding a new location.
This is a goodbye for now and not necessarily a goodbye forever!
I love my business, I love pool and if something works out or comes up down the road that sounds good for me to open another poolhall then I will seriously consider it.
WE survived covid lockdowns but cant do much when I lose the building that I'm operating in due to a redevelopment of the property🤷‍♂️
I have tried relentlessly to find a reasonable and sensible location to move to but, in the end the right details and agreements were not able to be ironed out to allow this to happen at this time.
Rack'em Jack was turning 8 this September 2022 and had been turned into a success as a business with a top notch reputation as a poolhall that is hardly ever met and maintained in the industry. You, our wonderful customers have been a major part in upholding this and I am so proud to say I accomplished with help of staff, friends and customers what I had set out to create from the beginning. We had a closeness and welcomeness to our hall thay is rarely created and that's what made it great!Thankyou for the fun times, awsome cash leagues as well as great city championship tournaments over the years, second to none!
As unfair and sad as this situation is, everything does happen for a reason, even if we dont know why in the moment.

NOTICE FOR MONDAY NIGHT:

CPA WILL PLAY ITS FINAL NIGHT OF PLAY THIS MONDAY EVENING AT THE SAME TIME AS ALWAYS.

Anyone interested in purchasing any equipment ASAP, I have set prices otherwise I'll be putting things in storage. You can message me or drop by and see me after calling ahead. I will be around the hall closing things out over the rest of June and july.

I WANT TO THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU🙏👍 CUSTOMERS, FRIENDS, FAMILY AND STAFF FOR ALL THE SUPPORT OVER THE LAST 8 YEARS, I'LL MISS ALL OF YOU AS WELL AS RACK'EM JACK ITSELF🎱.
I want to say one last thing to all our league members and regulars....there is not 1 of you that hasnt improved since playing regularly at Rack'em. Each and everyone of you have become better at the game of pool and that is a testament to how everyone helps everyone in our hall to become better!!
If not for losing the building we would still be here😢

Hello, I'm Greg Johnson
I am the owner of Rack'em Jack Billiards & Sports Lounge.
I was only contacted yesterday and was working at the time of the call so I was not able to comment and was unaware this was being published today.

Yes my business is being taken away if I am unable to find an affordable suitable location to relocate. I was already in the midst of lockdown when finding out this news about needing to find a new location which was impossible while not knowing when and if the lockdowns were going to end.
September of this year would have been 8 years in business, we opened in 2014 and had no affiliation to Dakotas or any other former billiard hall at this location. This was a fresh start with the goal of cleaning up the reputation of the billiard hall industry which has been a success!👍👍
I was able to survive 2 years of lockdowns because of building a strong reputable business and now am in jeopardy of not being able to continue due to the circumstances.
I grew up in the game of pool and love it because of my father introducing it to me.
I played for years in previous billiard halls in this location prior to opening rack'em jack.
I stayed strict and proud of changing the reputation that poolhalls tend to carry and made it clean, safe, fun, and a classy place for all ages. We have a wonderful regular clientele who always make for a welcoming atmosphere for all new customers. Great pub food and prices along with fantastic billiard equipment thats helped provid for well established pool leagues 3 to for 4 nights a week depending on the season.
After 2 years of lockdowns causing major financial losses while waiting BUT surviving, this hurts🤦‍♂️
If I'm unable to relocate it will not only be taking my livelyhood but a piece of my heart along with it as I have put everything into my business both for the love of the game but also to provide for my family.
Thankyou to all our fine customers over the years up until this point and thankyou for all the support as of late as I know Rack'em has been, and is an important place to many people who frequent it as well. I would also like to thank each and every staff member that has worked at rackem over the years as well. I have been blessed with the luck of having all wonderful workers and good people.

Hello everyone!👋
After waiting and surviving 2 years of lockdowns, I have had another bump in the road🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

After getting reopened I am now trying to find a new location because the present location will no longer be around for much longer as the owners of the building will be developing the land and turning it into condos and department stores!😢
Rack'em has been around almost 8 years and has been a very well liked establishment to play pool and have a good time in a clean, safe environment while having some great snacks and drinks with friends and family. We have developed a fantastic regular group that welcome new customers all the time. We have established outstanding leagues and tournaments all while enjoying some of the best billiard equipment around for outstanding prices.
I am trying my best to relocate as I have put my heart and soul into this business and survived covid lockdowns so I am not ready to pack it in just yet after the lockdowns costing so much money in order to hang in.
People love this place and so do I and will be doing as much as I can to save it.
I will keep updating everyone as I work towards a new location so that hopefully everyone can move along with us!🙏🤞👍
This will be costly obviously so I am trying to find the right deal that makes sense.
Thankyou to everyone (staff included) for the love and support over 7 plus years and for the continued help and support moving forward on this venture!

I am working diligently on 2 different locations and with some good fortune, will hopefully secure a spot.
We will likely be open for the next couple of weeks as I am waiting on info everyday in order to start work on a new location.
I have asked all regular inhouse league members to make teams for the fall for Tuesdays and wednesdays as we hope to get back at it.
We are making arrangements for Monday night CPA at the moment as well and would also be having that league return home in the new location as soon as possible!
HANG ON EVERYONE AND HOPE TO RACK'EM AGAIN IN A NEW LOCATION!!😁👍👍

Finally we get to have the Rack'em Jack City 🎱 Ball Championship that was delayed by covid from 2020👍👍😁

It was a long wait but we finally have a date!

I want to give 2 thumbs up to all the players out of Rack'em Jack that played in the CPA splash board tournament in Barrie today as they all gave a solid effort in trying to win a spot in the October Las Vegas qualifier tournament👍👍
