Fires have long left their legacy in the arid South Okanagan, claiming many historic buildings such as the “Big Teepee” Hotel in the old Fairview mining town. When the mines ran out of gold, the residents moved down to the young village of Oliver, where a newly built irrigation ditch brought different riches to the parched landscape: agriculture. The town of Oliver still stands, but the fire station siren is often heard screaming across town in the desert air. In recent times, the volunteer firefighters built a modern fire station, leaving the original “Old Firehall” downtown in the heart of Canada’s Wine Capital. It is now the home of our brewery, where we pump out thirst-extinguishing ales with courageous flavour and alarming drinkability. Welcome to the Craft Beer Revolution!

Sheryl! 🤣 Whether Sheryl is a crow or a raven, well... we're brewers, not biologists, so maybe one of our online followers can help us out on that one (see last reel). Every Tuesday, fun-loving folks gather at 6:30pm for 2 rounds of 20 questions each with our excellent host Derek Mullen, competing for $10/player in brewery vouchers! The team that accumulates the most points over the season scores $25/player and a spot on the Trivia Trophy! Maximum 4 players per team, and seating is first-come-first-serve.

One of the rounds is general trivia, and one is always themed, with the theme drop happening in advance. Here it is…

Today is the 10th Annual Penticton B**r Run, and we're pouring the Lazy Dalmatian Dark L***r for 430 runners as they pass Socialē restaurant on Lakeshore 🏃🧯🍺 Say hi to Kass and Josh when you're there! Huge shout out to Lyndie and Hoodoo Adventure Company for pulling off this epic event year after year, directly supporting the local craft b**r scene 🍻

Somehow simultaneously we are also sponsoring the Larix 10km and 21km race at Baldy Mountain Resort! 😮🏔️👟 Apparently it's an active day for b**r lovers everywhere! 💪

The photos are in! Fantastic Firehall Festival 2026 (FFF) was another rock'n'roll success, with eight performances taking place in succession across the Firehall space.
