Dana began bartending out of a passion for creativity and connection, finding joy in the craft of mixing drinks that bring people together. Over the years, he has worked across a wide range of bartending gigs, from casual restaurants to fine dining establishments, honing both his technical knowledge and his hospitality skills.

His favourite cocktail to make is the Negroni — perfectly balanced with sweetness, bitterness, and spirit-forward depth — especially when crafted with Woods Gin, Carpano Antica, a dash of chocolate, and orange bitters.

Outside of bartending, Dana is a writer, musician, brewer, and distiller, always exploring new ways to tell stories and create art.

As a part of Team Canada 🇨🇦 Trade Mission to Japan last week. The Woods Spirit Co. were 1 of 175 Canadian businesses selected to represent our nation. What an honour and privilege it was to visit this beautiful country. 🇯🇵
During this trip we had a chance to meet yuzokomai 5 time national cocktail bartender champion 駒井優三/ Yuzo Komai. The cocktails were delicious and the hospitality was top notch at this phenomenal bar. PACRIM Distributors thanks for taking this awesome video!

Building something meaningful takes time.

Sometimes years… like whisky, which we age for 3+ years before it ever generates revenue—long before we see a return. Our very first batch won’t be ready until August 2027, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Right now, I’m sitting in 7th place for Entrepreneur of Impact after two rounds of cuts. For those who have already voted—thank you, your support truly means so much.
