Okay hockey fans… LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

We’re officially launching BEAT THE BUZZER on Friday, September 25th for the Nipawin Hawks HOME OPENER! 🏒💛🖤

We’ve been working on something fun for game night, and we’re finally ready to put our kitchen to the test.

Here’s how BEAT THE BUZZER works:

🍔 Choose your meal from our special Beat the Buzzer Game Night Menu.

⏱️ Once your complete order is sent to the kitchen, the clock starts!

🏒 Our kitchen starts with 20 minutes to get your qualifying meal out.

🚨 Make modifications or certain upgrades? Just like hockey, you may pick up a penalty that gives our kitchen a little extra time. Your server will explain your official Buzzer Time before the clock starts.

💥 If our kitchen DOESN’T Beat the Buzzer, your qualifying Beat the Buzzer entrée is FREE!

Think we can handle the pressure? 😏

NOW HERE’S THE IMPORTANT PART…

🕓 Beat the Buzzer will run from 4:00–6:00 PM, with a limited number of tables available in 20-minute time slots.

👥 Beat the Buzzer is available for parties of 6 or fewer.

📞 CALL AHEAD TO RESERVE YOUR BEAT THE BUZZER TIME SLOT!

Once a time slot is full, it’s full — but we’ll happily see if we can get you into another available Buzzer time.

And if all of our Beat the Buzzer spots are spoken for? We’d still LOVE to feed you! Our regular dining room and menu will still be available — you just won’t be playing Beat the Buzzer that night.

🏒 This is our first run at Beat the Buzzer and we’re launching it on a trial basis. We’re going to have some fun with it, see how the night goes, and if all goes well, we hope to bring it back for more Hawks home games throughout the season!

Hawks fans 💛🖤, visiting-team fans, families and anyone who just wants to get in on the action — EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO PLAY.

Come hungry. Watch the clock. Cheer on the kitchen. Then head to the rink for puck drop.

Watch our selected competitors put their mixology skills to the test as they create original cocktails using a mystery blind box of spirits from LB Distillers Cheer on your favourites, cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award, and enjoy delicious bites from Peppers Kitchen + Bar while the competition unfolds!

Happy 65th Birthday to the heart of our kitchen… my mom ❤️

If you’ve ever enjoyed one of our homemade soups, sauces, or one of the many dishes made from scratch at Peppers, you’ve experienced her talent. So many of the flavours our customers have come to love are the result of her years of experience, dedication, and passion for cooking.

At 65, most people are thinking about retirement, but not her. She continues to show up every day, sharing her knowledge, perfecting recipes, and helping make Peppers what it is today. I truly couldn’t do this without her.

Mom, thank you for every early morning, every recipe, every lesson, and every ounce of love you’ve poured into this business. I’m so incredibly grateful to work alongside you, and even more grateful to call you my mom.

Please join me in wishing this incredible lady a very Happy Birthday.

🚨 FRIENDLY REMINDER – NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL PERMITTED ON THE GOLF COURSE 🚨

We have several signs posted throughout the property, including at the putting green, Hole #1, and Hole #10, but unfortunately we are still finding outside alcohol being brought onto the golf course.

As a reminder, this is a fully licensed facility operating under Saskatchewan liquor regulations. Outside alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the golf course or licensed premises.

This is not simply a course policy, it is a requirement tied to our liquor permit.

As the liquor permit holders, we are responsible for monitoring alcohol consumption and ensuring responsible service. If guests are consuming alcohol that has been brought onto the course without our knowledge, we have no way to accurately assess consumption levels. This creates significant liability concerns and could result in serious consequences for our liquor license and business, should an alcohol-related incident occur.

We invest considerable time, money, licensing fees, insurance costs, training, and staffing to operate our concession and beverage cart legally and responsibly. We ask that all golfers and guests respect those requirements.

Guests found bringing outside alcohol onto the course will be asked to remove it immediately. Repeated violations may result in being asked to leave the property.

We appreciate the cooperation of the vast majority of golfers who follow the rules and support the businesses that help make these services available.

🍺 ALCOHOL SERVICE HOURS 🍺

June 16 & 17:
• Alcohol service available from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Beginning June 18 (and hopefully throughout the remainder of the golf season, staffing permitting):
• Alcohol service will begin at 9:30 AM, which is the earliest time permitted under our liquor license.
• Service will continue until approximately 8:00 PM daily.

📢 Please plan your beverage purchases accordingly.
