🌩️ Cocktail of the Week: the Dark and Stormy 🌩️

Isaac builds it behind the bar. Ice, an ounce of lime and an ounce of simple syrup, shaken to wake the citrus up, then strained and topped with Fever-Tree ginger b**r, topped with dark rum poured slowly over a bar spoon so it settles like a storm cloud over the water. That's where the name comes from.

⭐ Reading your reviews ⭐

Leo goes through a couple from last week. Emily made the drive from Clifton Hill after seeing our reviews and said it was worth it. Pineapple nojito, a l***r and lime, Tuxedo Piggies, steak and mushroom boxty and the chicken parm mac and cheese. Fresh, delicious, top tier.

Her advice? Skip the tourist traps on the main strip and head straight here.

Then Cynthia gave us five out of five. Great food, and the bartender was fun to talk to.

🖤 The one and only Black Velvet 🖤

Magners c***r and Guinness, layered so they never mix. Isaac walks you through it.

Fill the c***r to one finger length under the Guinness symbol, let the foam settle, then pour the Guinness over a bent spoon so it floats right on top. Watch it cascade and stay separate.

The trick? The c***r has to be heavier than the Guinness. Most people think Guinness is the heavy one. It isn't.

🍹 Cocktail of the Week: the El Diablo!

Isaac takes you through it behind the bar. Think margarita, but with a kick. Fresh lime, El Jimador tequila, triple sec, shaken cold, then topped with Fever-Tree ginger b**r for that bit of spice.

The finish is the fun part. An inverted lime shell on top, a splash of Chambord, then tilt it and watch the red bleed straight through the drink.
