The Heritage Uke Club began in the spring of 2011, and has been meeting nearly every Monday night (and now Thursdays, too!)since at the Heritage Grill in New Westminster. Our group usually consists of around 30-40 Uke players of all ages. We do a song-circle format from 6-8pm, choosing songs that range from traditional Hawaiian and Americana to early Rock n Roll. Beginners are welcome, we offer a
limited number of loaner Ukes and Song books. After the Uke Club, Greg Gory hosts an Open Mic from 8pm til midnight. We hold an event on the last Tuesday of each month at the Heritage Grill, 8pm til midnight with a song-circle, Uke Club members performing and Ukulele bands. Here's what some of our club members have said;
"We always have a really great time on Monday nights and the Heritage Grill is such a friendly place to hold our sing-a-longs." -Viv
