If you’re looking for a hike to take in the golden glow, add Woodbury Cabin to your list. Located in Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park, this 8 km trail climbs steadily through the Selkirk Mountains, with beautiful alpine views along the way. Once you reach the cabin, you’ll be surrounded by golden larches and mountain views in every direction.
The hike gains around 762 metres of elevation and takes most hikers 4–5 hours to reach the cabin, making it a rewarding full-day adventure for experienced hikers.
Planning to stay at the cabin? Reservations are made through the Alpine Club of Canada, so be sure to book ahead.
