MARLEEN FAWCETT TO ENTERTAIN CANADIAN CLUB
On Wednesday, May 18 at
6:30 pm, members and friends will gather at the Royal Canadian Legion in Morrisburg to hear our local singer/songwriter Marleen Fawcett
Marleen has been entertaining locally for several years -including events like Dairyfest. Her musical career now includes having her own band. Her voice and face are now known internationally.
In that scenario is her now annual holiday in Negril, Jamaica, where she entertains at the Beach Bar.
VISITORS: For $35 each, you can have a great dinner, hear Marlene- and experience a Canadian Club Evening.
Tickets must be purchased before May 12.

Speaker Daniel Richer, a Town Crier since 1981, who has hosted numerous events including the Vancouver Olympics.

Socializing begins at approx 6:30pm Head table piped in by Hugh Metcalfe
Dinner at pm.
Guest speaker at 8 pm
2 draws at end of meeting.
Evening ends with singing of
"Oh Canada"

Canadian CLub is an organization that began in Hamilton in 1924 to foster interest in Canada and its people. Meetings usually include a meal.
