Chers amis et amies, après 5 ans au Mile End, l'aventure Cartel tire à sa fin. Nous voudrions prendre le temps de remercier sincèrement tous les clients qui nous ont supporté depuis notre ouverture en 2012 et qui sont devenus des membres de notre famille. Il nous a fait énormement plaisir de vous servir et vos êtres chers, et de célébrer vos occasions spéciales, vos anniversaires, vos mariages, et vos bachelorettes au fil des années. Nous vous invitons donc à venir nous voir pour un dernier Taco Tuesday aujourd'hui et pour une dernière soirée des huîtres demain, mercredi le 27 septembre (veuillez réserver). Nous partons vers d'autre projets et nous vous promettons de vous tenir au courant en espérant vous revoir très bientôt. Vous allez nous manquer. Merci et continuez à manger hors de l'ordinaire!

Dear friends, after 5 years in Mile End, the Cartel adventure comes to its conclusion. We would like to thank from the bottom of our heart all our loyal customers, who have supported us since the beginning in 2012, and who have become members of our extended family. We have been delighted to serve you and your loved ones, and to celebrate your special occasions, birthdays, weddings, and bachelorettes over the years. We are inviting you to join us for one last Taco Tuesday tonight and a final oyster evening tomorrow, Wednesday Sept. 27th (please, reserve). We invite you to play with your food. All tacos, including our famous fish tacos and new varieties, are now offered by the unit, so you can have fun mixing and matching. We have also introduced rustic quesadillas and enchiladas, all with that unique Cartel creole signature, combining flavors from Mexico, Peru, and Japan.

It's going to be a gorgeous terrace night in Mile End. Every Thursday, Cartel treats the ladies to a 2 x 1 on all our specialty cocktails: margaritas, pisco sour, caipirinha, Singapore Sling, Oaxaca old fashioned, and many more.*

2 x 1 on all specialty cocktails every Thursday. Alcohol sold with meals only.

Cartel's Hot as F* cocktail:

1 oz tequila (a good one - your favorite)
0.5 oz Grand Marnier
1 oz lime
Sq**rt of Agave syrup

Shake with 3 jalapeño slices (or more if you feel like burning) and ice;

Add 3 more jalapeño slices peppers for garnish (more if you are from Sinaloa);

Place delicately a slice of orange on the rim to cool off the heat (or not!).
