A new school year has started. We cannot be so flexible in store hours as in the summer holiday. Especially on Thursday, Sunday and Monday, we tend to close early because we have to get up early the next morning to send our kids to school. For any customer who needs supper on those three days, please don’t be too late. Or, if you don’t require freshly cooked hot food, you can call us in advance to order. We can make your food before we turn off the kitchen. Sorry for any inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding. By the way, steaks are available this Saturday. Same options, same price, but mini coleslaw will be replaced with mini Caesar Salad. Please pre-order by end of today. Thank you for your support! 😄

Steak Dinner this Saturday (Aug. 29): Strip Loin, Wedged Fries & Mini Coleslaw (our way). This time, we provide steaks in two sizes – 8oz & 12oz, 8oz set @$26.00 and 12oz set @$32.00, both tax included. Still, doneness NOT 100% guaranteed. If you are interested, please pre-order by end of Friday (Aug. 28), number of servings quite limited. Lately we are considering changes to our foods and steak is one of them. We are trying different products now. Hopefully, we will be able to make steaks regularly soon. Thank you for your support!

Steak Dinner this Friday (Aug. 14): 12oz Strip Loin, wedged fries & vegetables @$30.00, tax included. As this is our first time to try steaks for customers, the result may not be perfect. To make it easy to handle, we will only provide a Very SMALL number of servings, and we will cook the steaks to medium-rare or medium only. If this is the doneness you like, please call to order. By the way, we sear steaks – we are a fan of grill marks. Thank you for your support!

New appetizer ready to serve – Pan-fried Chicken Gyoza, 8pc @$8.00, comes with home-made seasoned soy sauce or vinegar. For now, we provide this item as a trial probably until the end of summer vacation. Depending on its sales strength, we will decide whether to add it to the menu formally. Any feedback is welcomed. Some complementary information about today’s special:
1) Tonkatsu simply means Japanese style pork cutlets, with meat tenderized and then coated with Panko for the optimal texture inside and outside;
2) Fries shown on the picture will be replaced with wedges in the same serving size, but you can ask for regular crinkle cuts if you like them;
3) Please pick two sauces, one for Tonkatsu, the other for spring rolls;
4) For customers who don’t like vegetables or ALLERGIC to SESAME SEEDS, you can replace the spring rolls and salad with another piece of Tonkatsu, no additional charge.

Summer vacation, no school for kids (and parents)! From this Thursday till end of August, store hours will be more flexible, especially the kitchen. We may still be able to accept hamburger orders after 1:30PM or 7:30PM; pizzas can be made for lunch sometimes; fryers will be left on for a longer while. Please make a call in advance to check availability.

Also, food menu slightly updated: 1) Ground beef can be added to poutine, for customers who want some extra protein; 2) GO-KETO in the hamburger section, as a clean and healthy option for customers who want to strictly limit the intake of carbs. Thank you for your support! Stay Cool!
