The Playhouse show is still scheduled for June 19th at 7:00 pm. Doors will open at 6:00 pm. It is general seating so you can come early to get good seats. The bar and canteen are also open for the show. Don't forget our delicious oatcakes and tea are complimentary and are served during intermission. We are now accepting applications for Student Summer Employment for 2026

If you are looking for Summer Employment, enjoy interacting with others and are interested in music, then look no further than the LOUISBOURG PLAYHOUSE.

We have two openings this season -
First position is an Internet Communications assistant and the second position is a Sound Tech assistant.
The positions run 35 hours a week for 8 weeks at $16.75 an hour.

Some Qualifications for Summer Employment:
-Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 30 at the start of employment
-Must be respectful and conduct yourself in a professional manner
-Enjoy meeting and interacting with others, taking tickets and usher guests to their seats.
-Being able to use a cash register and debit machine is an asset
-Good computer and social media skills is an asset
-Having an interest in music and/or a music background is an asset
- Must have a reliable way to and from work, driver’s license is an asset
