- Monthélie 1er Cru « Les Duresses » Seguin-Manuel 2017

- Madeira Malvazia d’Oliveiras 1990
- Champagne Cramant Grand Cru Pierre Gimonnet 2014

A beautiful tasting today with Simon Kelly (Tamra Washington’s husband) and the entire Kelly Washington collection from New-Zealand.
Wines are gorgeous.

I obviously had a few favorites
- 2020 Pinot Blanc, Marlborough
Perfect for the upcoming summer

- 2018 Cabernet Franc, Hawkes Bay
A delicious everyday medium bodied wine

- 2021 Syrah on Primeur, Waiheke Island
A very small product but so delicious, medium to full bodied, pure, tasty with a lot of freshness.

Nice wine, a bit young, needs to be forgot at least 8-10 years in the cellar but great potential. Strawberry on the nose...

Nice wine, a bit young, needs to be forgot at least 8-10 years in the cellar but great potential.

Strawberry on the nose and wild raspberries with cocoa.
The palates offer blackcurrant and red cherries flavours followed by dry tannins, spices and unsweetened chocolate.

- SERCIAL for the dry wines
- VERDELHO for the medium-dry
- BOAL for the mefium-sweet
- MALVAZIA for the sweet.

Green apple, strawberry and spices on the nose.
The palate offers a fruity and dry taste with white flowers, hints of vanilla and toasted aromas.

Many thanks for the wines and for these delicious cheeses

All the wines were highly drinkable but some were better:
- Giannitessari from Veneto in Italie
- Günther Steinmetz from Mosel in Germany
- Port Philip Estate Quartier from Mornington Peninsula Australia
- Moss Wood from Margaret River in Australia
- Chambolle-Musigny from Burgundy in France

Wonderful bottle. I won’t leave a drop in it!

The nose is powerful with red berries and smoked aromas.
A lot of complexity on the palate with touches of game, leather and dark chocolate aromas.
It is very well balanced and elegant.
