Sad to hear the news this weekend of Al passing away a few weeks ago. Al had a great passion for billiards and it showed in his skill and his competitiveness. He was a player you could learn a great deal from just watching him play. My condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed

Hi Facebookers! This Saturday is the last chance for our garage sale items. Lots of different things still to go. Hello Facebookers!!!
I am hosting a going out of business garage sale tomorrow and Sunday the 17th and 18th of July. At Shotz Billiards 1120 2 Ave S Lethbridge.
The will be lots of furniture, used pool equipment, cues and cases, kitchen and bar glassware, some office equipment, seasonal decorations and other misc knick knacks.
Doors will be open from 11am to 4pm both days. Hope to see you there!

Hi everyone! I am down to 2 of the 9 foot tables available, the snooker table is sold, the 60" tv and a 42" both with wall mounts, I have lots of furniture still and yes a few random flats of beer available still. Shoot me a message if you are interested ( I have them on kijiji as well)

Thank you all for your help and referrals. I will likely be holding a garage sale on the 17th and 18th of July to get rid of all the other remaining items and knick knacks. I will post timingas as I set them so keep you eyes open.

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well. I am in the final phases of wrapping things up at the pool hall. Before the new building owners take over I still have some things I will be selling off over the next few weeks.
As far as the pool tables go I have 4 remaining 4.5' x 9' Dufferin Anniversary edition tables with Championship Tour edition cloth, they will come as a package, with 4 house cues, rest, rack 4 bulb light and a set of the Super Aramith pool balls and tray. $2000 firm no GST and first paid gets them.
The snooker table is up for grabs with a 2 panel flat led light, balls, rack, rests best offer takes it. I have a variety of other items for sale such as chairs , tvs and extra lights if you are interested or even want a cheap deal on any of my beer inventory I have remaining please send me a message. I hope you are all doing well, take care and feel free to share with anyone you think may need some if these things.

Good Morning Facebookers!
After careful consideration I am saddened to announce that I have made the decision to not reopen Shotz.
The decision to bring this rollercoaster ride to an end was one I did not take lightly. There are several reasons to let go and to be honest the uncertainty of the past year, and the months to come, has sucked the wind from my sails. It has brought me to dictate my own fate rather than fade away at the hands of others.
As for the business, the building will be put up for sale in the following days. The contents of the club, lets call it a Shotz Billiards start up kit, will be held for a bulk deal in case anyone would like to approach me to discuss an offer. After a month, if there are no takers on the package deal, I will compile a list items and release them for public sale. So, if that bar stool or table you may have found yourself slouched over, scowling as someone runs you out, is dear to you, I am sure we would be able to make a deal. I will be reimbursing any outstanding gift certificates and will make myself available if you have any personal belongings you need to retrieve from the club. I would like to thank my staff. We have faced challenging times together, some good and some bad, and I appreciate your commitment, passion, dedication, and resolve. As is the nature of this business, people come and go, I have never thought I could keep staff forever. For some, Shotz was just a steppingstone and I am proud to have seen so many move on to bigger and better things.
It has been quite the journey over the past 19 years. I cannot begin to imagine how many people I have met, good friends I have made, and how many I am proud to still call my friends. So many people that have made Shotz their second home (some of you I think it was your only home!) and so many who brought their own style to the club to make it just that much better. As fondly as I think of my friends, I also think of the others we have known and lost. More than I care to count but all are still etched in my mind, each with a funny story or just something they did that brings a smile to my face. All of you have played a significant roll in my life and sincerely thank you.

Sorry to say Facebookers but looks like we are closed now until at least the 21st. Even then we have to see what they will and will not let us do. I know it is crappy news but hopefully, bigger picture, it gets us back with a better form of eased restrictions. Hope you are all staying safe and healthy, take care and see you soon enough! -Jes
