A cocktail named for a queen was never going to be subtle.

The Queen of Kittur takes its name from Rani Chennamma, the 19th-century Queen of Kittur remembered for her courage and fierce resistance against British rule.

Our take brings together that energy through the mixology of gin, Aperol, bergamot, apricot liqueur and Supasawa for a cocktail that is bright, citrusy and layered with just the right amount of attitude.

Hallo, Oktober! We're celebrating our very own Oktokberfest at Steel & Vines all weekend.

Alongside our regular menu, we’ll be featuring some delicious German-inspired food features, along with a lineup of incredible w**es and b**rs that we are so excited to share with you. 🍷🍺

And we’re especially excited to have Alex Good from Nobilis W**e Imports in the building, bringing his passion for the craft and knowledge of German w**e along for the celebration!

Come out, try something new, enjoy some incredible food and drinks, and soak up the energy as we raise a glass to Oktoberfest. Whether you're already a lover of German w**e and b**r or you're ready to discover something completely new, this is the perfect excuse to come celebrate with us.

Lavender has entered the cocktail chat.

The "Jubilee Street" layers gin with lavender bitters, lavender honey syrup and lemon, finished with that silky, cloud-like top foam. Floral, citrusy and delicate without disappearing into the background.

Votes came pouring in last week 🍷

Our first volume of Grape Games brought two incredible w**e importers to the table for an evening of friendly competition. Chef Randel created a special multi-course menu, and each course came served with different w**e paired alongside. Then came the hard part: choosing a favourite.

Congratulations to Lisa Zinck of Boutique W**es, who took home the Grape Games title with her winning lineup! And of course, a big thank you to Dave Partridge of Partridge Imports for returning to defend his crown and bringing another fantastic selection to the table this year.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us, tasted along, debated their favourites and cast their votes. You made the evening what it was.
