🐴🎸 MEET THE LINEUP — DODGER ROUNDUP: SONGS FOR SAYDE 🎸🐴
This September 26th, we're turning our horse corral into a full outdoor country music venue, complete with a stage and dance floor, and we wanted to share the heart behind this one before we get to the lineup.
This event is named Songs for Sayde in honour of Sayde, a former Dodger team member. Rod Black and Chris Buck Band are joining us to celebrate her memory through music, and we're honoured to help make that happen.
🎤 Chris Buck (Headliner)
A New Westminster-born, now Nashville-based powerhouse, Chris Buck has headlined some of Canada's biggest country stages, Boots & Hearts, Calgary Stampede, and Big Valley Jamboree among them. With over 17 million catalogue streams, 10x BCCMA Award wins, and a Gold-certified Top 20 single in "That's When You Know," Chris is joining us for Songs for Sayde to help celebrate her memory in the best way we know how, through music.
🎤 Rod Black “Black Lysted”
A Langley-born country rock singer-songwriter and Sayde's brother, Rod is the frontman of Blacklysted and launched a solo country hit, "Keepin' On," which climbed into Canada's Top 20. Rod is taking the stage in honour of his sister, and we're grateful to be a part of it.
🎤 Mckai
Keep an eye on this one. Mckai is a local up-and-coming artist who's been steadily building a name for himself with his sound and stage presence, we're proud to have him join us for this special day.
🎤 Doug Brookswood
A true Brookswood local through and through, Doug is a familiar face who never fails to bring the energy every time he takes the stage.
Line dancing, a dance floor, b**r garden, BBQ, market vendors, and a full day of country music. Mark your calendars.
