F5 Mandolin No.79- Special Edition build with eggshell lacquer bursted faceplate and a Dark Cremona French polish spirit varnish finish. New Single bound Stripe binding front and back! 1 1/16ths” Nut width on a compound radius Indian Rosewood fingerboard with Mammoth ivory block inlays. Traditional profiled shellac speed neck with truss rod reinforcement. Narrow/ low frets. 13/16ths” bridge height with a standard setup of 5/64ths” string action on the bass side at the 12th fret and 1/16ths” on the treble side. Adirondack spruce top with asymmetrical A bracing pattern and bound f holes. Sugar maple neck, sides, and one piece back. Hammer and chisel engraved, felt lined, hinged tailpiece. Gotoh machine tuners with New clear k***s, as well as a truss rod cover and single bound pickguard to match! Shipped with a Hardshell case!

F5 Mandolin No.78- Custom built French polish Dark Cremona finish. 1 1/8ths” Nut width on a compound radius fingerboard with narrow/low frets and ivoroid dot inlays. Traditional 3-ply crossbanded cherry faceplate with fir tree ivoroid inlay and Gotoh machine tuners with Lemon Drop k***s! Pearloid truss rod cover and a shellac speed neck finish on a traditional profile neck. Adjustable bridge set at 13/16ths” with a standard setup of 5/64ths” string action at the 12th fret on the bass side and 1/16ths” on the Treble. Hammer and chisel engraved, felt lined, hinged tailpiece. Custom Cremona Armrest with initials JWW inlaid in Olde English. Adirondack spruce top with asymmetrical A bracing pattern and bound f holes. Sugar Maple back, sides, and neck. Single bound front and back as well as a Dark Tortoiseshell pickguard. Interior blocking and kerfing is Mahogany.

F5 Mandolin No.77- Faded Victorian black face with a satin 1704 spirit varnish finish. 1 1/8” nut width with a compound radius fingerboard and truss rod reinforcement. Shellac speed neck with a traditional profile and narrow/ low frets. Adirondack spruce cross braced top, sugar maple back, sides, and neck. Adjustable bridge set at 13/16ths” height with a standard setup of 5/64ths” string action on the bass side at the 12th fret and 1/16ths” on the treble side. Hammer and chisel engraved, felt lined, hinged tailpiece. Gotoh machine tuners with New Lemon Drop k***s! Single bound lemon pickguard and bound f holes. Mahogany interior blocking and kerfing. The first Johansson Truss Rod! I was having a hard time finding them for stock a little while back so I picked up materials to make them and found a supplier soon after anyway but I may wind up making more in time. Welding needs more practice anyway!

No.76- Custom F5 Mandolin with a Red/Brown Cremona, French polished varnish finish. XL 1 3/16” nut width on a compound radius fingerboard with pearloid fret markers and narrow/low Stainless steel frets. Traditional profile shellac speed neck with truss rod reinforcement. X braced Adirondack spruce top with bound f holes. Sugar Maple back, sides, and neck. Mahogany interior blocking and kerfing. Traditional 3-ply crossbanded Cherry faceplate with Floral inlay in pearloid. Gold Gotoh machine tuners with pearloid k***s. Custom hinged, felt lined tailpiece with Dutch Lion and oak leaf boarder engraving done by hammer and chisel. Adjustable Ebony bridge currently set at 13/16ths” height with a standard setup of 5/64ths” string action at the 12th fret on the Bass side, and 1/16ths” on the Treble side.

Asymmetrical A braced Adirondack spruce top with bound f holes, sugar maple back, sides, and neck and Mahogany interior kerfing and blocking. Adjustable bridge currently set at a height of 13/16” with a standard setup of 5/64ths” string action on the 12th fret on the bass side, and 1/16ths” on the treble side. Double bound front and back with matching pickguard and armrest. Hammer and chisel engraved, felt lined, hinged tailpiece with oak leaf engraving. Gold Gotoh machine tuners with New Lemon Drop k***s! Comes with your choice of either the Deluxe Wool Case or the Money Case!
