Çılbır is a traditional Turkish dish that dates back centuries to the Ottoman Empire. Poached eggs over garlic yogurt finished with warm chili butter has long been a favourite for slow, lingering breakfasts.

Ours is topped with mint, dill, coriander, and parsley, served with pita with za’atar, ideal for scooping up every last bite.
