With all the excitement surrounding Carley Fortune’s new series Every Year After premiering this Wednesday, we’re thinking about starting something special at The Moose.

The show is based on Carley’s first Novel, Every Summer After, which takes place in our very own Barry’s Bay! Being a neighbouring community that’s so close to home, we’d love to fully immerse ourselves in the excitement and bring the story to life right here at Round Lake.

We’re gauging interest in a bi-weekly Rosé & Reads Book Club this summer at The Moose on Round Lake!

A chance to bring together friends, neighbours, cottagers and locals from around the lake and community.

Late last night, her cat Eddy was struck by a vehicle and they have been at the Ottawa Emergency Animal Hospital through the night. Eddy is now facing a leg amputation along with extensive emergency veterinary care and recovery costs.
