Way to go team!! 👏 Two groups of Boogie committee members and boogie friends were hard at work this weekend!

Kent F, Rob & Cathy H, Art S, Jay T, Chris P, Christine & Shayne K were out at the Boogie site prepping and primping for the big show! Fantastic work team!!

AND Wendy S, Michel T, Anita Y, Carmen F, Tanner G were in town helping out at the Minor Ball canteen!! Great job to all the organizers and helpers who organized a great Minor Ball and SLO Pitch weekend 👏👏

So awesome to see these things happening in the community ❤️ way to go everybody

👏Wooowee!! Please help us in welcoming Dixie Hiway to the Hillbilly Boogie Music Festival 2026!!

Dixie Hiway is a four-piece country and country rock band from Saskatoon. After years of playing, the band formed in 1995. With their powerful, tight four-piece harmonies, they can adapt to the music they play, from Merle Haggard to Keith Urban to Shane Profit and many more.

Playing the steel guitar, fiddle, and accordion with their surprising set changes will make you want to stay on the dance floor. They have entertained many bars in Saskatchewan, Aberta, Manitoba, also many weddings, and corporate events.

Some of their biggest accomplishments have been playing for the Brier 3 times in Saskatchewan, Craven Country fest, Dauphin Country fest, and the Grandstand at the Saskatoon Exhibition, Country at the Creek, just to name a few.

From the neon-soaked chaos of Fremont Street in Las Vegas to the legendary asphalt and leather congregation of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Arcana Kings have proven countlessly they can own any crowd, any stage, anywhere on the planet.

And they're coming to the Hillbilly Boogie 😎

Forget everything you thought you knew about traditional bagpipes. Arcana Kings are a full-throttle, high-decibel rock experience that merges the ancient, battle-ready cry of the pipes with blistering guitar riffs and a crushing rhythm section.

Arcana Kings - meaning secrets or mysteries, are made up of Johnny McCuaig on lead vocals, bagpipes and rhythm guitar, lead guitarist James Picton, rhythm guitarist and vocals Allan Morrison (a hometown Davidson guy!), on bass Jason Arcand and drummer Graham Templeman (a hometown Colonsay dude!).

Their sound hits you like a wall of Highland thunder crashing into a freight train of pure rock 'n' roll adrenaline. This band is a musical sensation that delivers impressive rock songs like their powerful CFL sports anthem “Here We Go”.
