🕊️ In loving memory of Julien Chabot.

One of the key figures behind Goldwyn, the legendary bull that Goldwyn’s Kemptville is named after. Goldwyn’s success in changing the dairy world forever was only made possible because of a select few individuals, and Julien’s contribution was one of the most significant when he initially discovered Braedale Goldwyn.

He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. We at Goldwyn’s Kemptville are honoured to have had him visit many times including our grand opening, and leaving us with this signed photo earlier this year.

Rest in peace, Julien.

Update for Sundays at Goldwyn’s Kemptville.

Our Sunday Shuck Shack Oyster Night is officially off the menu for now at Goldwyn’s.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for oysters on Sundays, but we’re making a little room on the calendar for something new coming this fall!

And we think you’re going to like what’s coming next.

🪻 Lavender season is in full bloom, and we’re lucky to have Lavender Mills Farm practically as a neighbour just down the road.

We had such a wonderful time at the recent event, serving up cocktails in the lavender fields, including plenty of our Lavender Haze. Made with fresh lavender from the farm, it’s also one of the most popular cocktails here at Goldwyn’s.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our trailer to say hello. We really do have such a wonderful community here, and we’re proud to be part of it and events like this.

The North Grenville Lavender Festival is happening this Sunday, July 19 from 10am to 3pm at Lavender Mills Farm.
We won’t be at the festival this time, but we’ll certainly be there in spirit… and only about a 7 minute drive away.

Whether you’re local or coming from out of town to enjoy lavender season, join us before or after for lunch, dinner and drinks on the patio in downtown Kemptville.

Please don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly. And yes, the Lavender Haze is also available as a mocktail. 😉
