It is with a heavy heart that District Billiards has decided that it is time to close our doors.
We had 3.5 years of great times, tournament’s, comraderie and a HUGE improvement in play amongst players of all talents.
Howver the loss of the league as well as the current temperature of the pool community has made keeping the dream of District Billiards alive and well, unattainable.
District Billiards was started as a way to give back to the community, and since the community no longer desires that, we feel that we have run our course and it may be time for someone else to step up and take everyone to the next level.
We are thankful to those who supported us, and tried to help us thru the past few months however as a family, we are unable to keep the doors open at this time.
There is time, however, if somebody were to want to purchase District Billiards and keep it alive, we urge you to contact us at [email protected] for more information.
To all those players out there, please remember these few things:
Keep your cue on the table.
All stick time is good practice, regardless of the game. Just play.
Dont be a Nit.
Win or lose, shake hands and walk away with grace and dignity.
Remove the words “should have” and “could have” from your pool vocabulary. If it should have, or could have, it would have. (Don’blame anything or anyone for a loss. You’re the only one to blame. Practice and be better or admit YOU screwed up. It’s the only way to improve.)
We love you all, even those that dont feel like they deserve it.
We’ll see ya’ll on the tables. Flip.
Dustin, Mikayla, Luke.
Special thanks and much love to Dave, Blake and Sheri and Jordan for taking this journey with us, no matter where you got off.
