In 2005 The King Edward Pub and Restaurant re-opened its doors. People said that as we were from the city, we were never going to make it. Most of you have changed your opinion and have been supporting us for over 2 decades. For that, we thank you.

We proved that we are worthy of being apart of this small town. I myself,Deborah, grew up on a farm in Nanticoke Ontario, around the Simcoe area. My family were farmers. Rich came from England where his mother was a restaurant owner. I had had many careers during my life. Please feel free to come in, chat and find out more. My husband is a Chartered Engineer in England and a P.Eng in Ontario. He too loves to talk about his past. Come on into the King Edward and check out our Century and a half-old building too!

For some reason there is a rumour going around that The King Edward Restaurant and Pub in Ilderton has permanently closed. This is not true.
In fact, we have been in business since 2005 and have never closed.
We have been happily serving customers for 21 years now.

The King Edward building is 150 years old this year. We love our Heritage Building that used to be the General Store and Post Office in Ilderton. We even have a ghost or two.

Ilderton town wide yard sale Saturday May 2. Stop by for lunch at The King Eddy. We open at noon. Lots of great bargains and finds to purchase from our neighbours.
You never know what treasure you might find.
