Our head brewer, Seguin, is the heart of the brewery. Known for his lovable, goofy nature, he effortlessly bridges the gap between the front and back of house with a genuine drive for team education and inclusion.

His passion is contagious—whenever a new release drops, we’re all ears to hear the “how” and “why” behind his process.

Beyond the tanks, Seguin has been an incredible mentor, taking Allie under his wing with a level of patience and kindness that has made them our favourite brewery duo.
He brings a refreshing, self-deprecating humour to the table and is dedicated to crafting approachable, high-quality beer without a hint of snobbery.

Whether his “body battery” is at 12% or 120%, Seguin is instrumental to the morale and vibes at Canvas. Working alongside him is a true privilege.

Canning day at Canvas: a beautiful, unpredictable mess. 🎢🍻

If you’ve ever worked a canning line, you know it’s a day of constant surprises—some great, some that make you want to walk into the mash tun. It’s a high-stakes game of technical hurdles and “expect the unexpected.”

To keep the morale high and the frustration low, we rely on our secret weapons: a killer playlist, a team that refuses to let the vibes dip, and our lucky tokens scattered along the line to keep us sane when things get weird. 🦖🦆

Watch on as our favourite duo dives into the newest addition to our Landmark series! 🍻

Landmark is all about big flavour with a lower ABV, and this Micro IPA fits the bill perfectly at 3.5% and 20 IBU. This time around, we’re experimenting with two brand-new aroma hops:

🍑 Alora: Bringing bright notes of peach, yuzu, sweet melon, and apricot.
🫐 Erebus: Adding a layer of blueberry, candied fruit, citrus, and floral rose.

💦🌊 Despite are beautiful new lakeside patio 🤣 we have unfortunately made the difficult decision to close today April 20th at 5PM and all day tomorrow.

The floodwaters have started to disrupt some of our brewery’s equipment so we have chosen to close yo avoid any future damage.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes. If you are still looking for retail beer purchases there will be a phone number posted on the door when we have staff in the building and they would be happy to serve you beer to go.
