‘Behind The Veil’ opens at Harmony House August 5th!

🎶A concert experience that examines the life and soul of one Canada’s most iconic and enduring authors - Lucy Maud Montgomery. Blending letters, diary entries, and poetry with original songwriting from the ensemble, this unique Harmony House production will pull back the veil to reveal who Maud really was.

Co-created by Alicia Toner and Mike Ross.

Featuring Brielle Ansems, Carlie Howell, Julain Molnar- as well as Alicia and Mike, with Max Gallant on drums, this tight knit ensemble will bring to life the spirit of a Canadian icon.

This production was created for the 150th LM Montgomery celebrations in 2024.

Its purpose was to run for a weekend in November….that’s all.

The response to the show was so good, we brought it back last June for one week.
It sold out, and the music these artists wrote for the show was SO fantastic we thought we’d give it a spot in our 2026 summer season for more people to experience!

Behind The Veil: a Harmony House PEI production 🎤📖

Examine the life of one of Canada's most beloved authors, Lucy Maud Montgomery, through musical storytelling, featuring voices Alicia Toner and Mike Ross.

The concert experience blends letters, diary entries, and poetry with original songwriting and original compositions from last year's successful world premiere. This unique Harmony House production will pull back the veil to reveal who L.M. Montgomery really was!
