A “Frasca” is a social custom from Friuli, Maurizio’s home province in Northeastern Italy. Frascas were like today’s “pop-up bars”, where people would hang a tree branch on the roadway as an invitation to stop by their farmhouse to share in great food, wine, music and company. These rustic locales – sometimes hard to find, but always worth the effort – were easy and comfortable spots for friends t

o come together. La Frasca offers familiar tastes, in Friulano style – the simple philosophy of deep rich sauces, slow cooked meats, handmade pastas…big flavours and quality ingredients that sing right along with Maurizio.
