Big thanks to Craig, Duncan, and Ryan for using the force to make this May 4th extra good!

As a non-Star Wars expert, let me sum up the nite:

We learnt how to 3D print Han Solo in Carbonite (it’s heavy); we learnt about the importance of characters that were on screen for 2 seconds; and we learnt about the cycle of light and Dartmouth … darkness.

Shoutout to Andrew and Tonya for leading trivia with their Star Wars expertise. The last round was seal or sci-fi (sounds). Please look up Weddell seal sounds … they’re out of this world (are y’all tired of my puns yet?)!

Giving a spotlight to the lesser and unknown characters (or glup sh*ttos) of the star wars universe
While not an official authority, Duncan MacNeil (He/Him) has been a fan of star wars since he was 9. Through that passion, he will shine a light on the unsung heros, villains and average slimos of the franchise.

The Cycle of Light and Darkness in Star Wars
Ryan Moult (He/Him) is a Halifax-based counselling therapist who has been in practice for 4 years. He has loved Star Wars since he was a kid for its adventures, characters, and themes, and can't wait to talk peoples' ears off about it.

For those with accessibility needs, there’s a picture of the stairs to go down to the basement; apologies in advance if this causes issues. This space can accommodate wayyyy more people so don’t be shy to invite your friends!

Heads up! Trivia will be upstairs where Nerd Nite usually happens so don’t get confused!
